Passion for the land
The farm "Occhiuto Emilia" was founded in 2016, driven by the "passion for the land" inherited from our grandparents. We purchased a piece of land near our home, in the municipality of Mongrassano on Valle della Pietra street, where we took care of existing plants and planted new olive trees, figs, and various fruits, crops that have restored the splendor to a land that was once home to an ancient olive oil mill.
Convinced that agriculture allows us to breathe in good, healthy, and clean air, together with my husband and children, we are committed to bringing genuine and healthy foods to the table.
The hilly environment with a temperate climate, typical of this area, has created favorable conditions for the cultivation of the "Fico Dottato di Cosenza" (recognized in 2010 with the quality mark DOP), which occupies a large part of our land and, together with the enhancement of local, human, and material resources, constitutes the strengths of our company.
